Facts

Red Kangaroos are the largest species of kangaroo. A mother kangaroo can produce milk of two different types to feed two different babies at the same time. One for young that has emerged from the pouch but is still nursing and one for a newborn. The females have the unique ability to delay the birth of their baby until their previous Joey has left the pouch. This is called embryonic diapause. When joeys are born, they are the size of a jelly bean!
