Facts

The horns on the watusi exist for one main purpose….body temperature regulation. The horns are mostly hollow, but have a plethora of blood vessels circulating through them that aid in dispersing heat.

Watusi’s horns can span up to eight feet in length and grow throughout their entire lives. They can stand up to 6 feet tall and weigh up to 1600 pounds!
