Visit The Zoo
What are your daily hours?
We are open every day from 10am-4pm, rain or shine. The Safari begins to close down at 3:30 pm every day.
What is the admission price?
Adults $20, Children 2-12 $15, Under 2 (0 and 1 year olds) are FREE!
Can I buy tickets at the zoo?
Yes, you can purchase tickets in person at the Zootique upon arrival…follow the Smile Sign after you park!
Can I buy tickets online?
Yes, tickets can be purchased on our website here.
Are there any discounts or coupons available for admission?
No, we do not have any current coupons or admission discounts.
Do you offer military discounts?
Yes, active duty members and veterans are $15.
Do you offer senior discounts?
Yes, ages 65 and up are $15.
Do you offer Family Season Passes?
Yes, family season passes are $295 for a family of four and $50 for any additional guests or children. They are valid for one year.
Do you have wheelchair and stroller accessibility?
Yes. We also have one wheelchair available on a first come first serve basis, just let the Staff know when you enter the Zootique.
Orders & Tickets
How long does the drive-through safari portion of the zoo take?
The drive-through safari typically last around 20 minutes. Can be up to 30 minutes on a busy day. You are also allowed to drive around as many times as you would like while the Safari is open.
How long does the walk-through portion of the zoo take?
The walk-through part of the zoo typically takes around an hour. However, you are welcome to stay as long as you would like during operating hours.
What is your rain policy?
We are open rain or shine.
Can I reschedule my Birthday Party event if it rains?
Yes, you are allowed to reschedule one time, if rain is in the forecast, please reschedule 48+ hours before the Birthday Party so we can staff appropriately.
Can I reschedule my Private Event if it rains?
Yes, you are allowed to reschedule one time as long as it is before 48 hours of the scheduled Event. We respectfully request this so we can staff appropriately and book other guests that have requested your time slot.
I can no longer attend during the day I reserved General Admission tickets. May I have a refund?
There are no refunds on General Admission tickets and Animal Feed purchased on-site.
Your General Admission tickets are valid indefinitely to be used on another day. We can not accept Animal Feed back from a guest for the safety of our animals.
Can tickets purchased online be used anytime?
Yes, General Admission tickets purchased online can be used on any date and do not expire. Encounters must come on their designated time and date unless they have been rescheduled 48 hours in advance on our website.
What if I don’t receive tickets in my email?
You should receive your tickets by email immediately after purchasing them on our website. If they don’t arrive, please check your junk mail and if you input your email address correctly. If that does not work, please contact hello@novawild.org and we will
resend your tickets to the correct email address.
The Animals & Events
Are there nuts in your animal feed?
The animal feed does not contain nuts but we cannot guarantee the feed was not
manufactured around nuts.
Is there food on site?
The Zootique sells snacks and drinks (sodas, juice and water). And we have one food truck on site, weather permitting. Zell’s Kitchen (world class tacos!), pre-order Zell’s here.
Do you offer capybara encounters?
Yes, capybara encounters are $60 per person and last 20 minutes. Capybara encounters can be scheduled on our website here.
Can I bring my own food in the zoo?
Yes, we have three first come first serve covered pavilion areas where our guest can eat their lunch. Please note these pavilions are also used for birthday parties and get quite busy on the weekends. There are also some first come first serve tables with umbrellas once you are inside the Zoo.
Can I bring my service animal with me?
Yes we do allow service animals on the property, please let the Staff know that you have a service animal when you arrive at the Zoo. Emotional Support animals are not allowed per our state and federal regulations.
Are there designated smoking areas at the zoo?
The zoo is a smoke-free facility. No smoking is allowed in the zoo or in our parking areas.
How can I donate to support the animals and their year-round care at NOVA Wild?
We can take donations on-site at the Zoo in the Zootique (Gift Shop.) You can also email hello@novawild.org and we can send you an invoice for the donation by email.
